Key Responsibilities:

• ID Verification: Rigorously check the age and identification of all customers to comply with legal age restrictions.
• Premises Monitoring: Oversee the premises, manage surveillance systems, and respond promptly to any unusual activities.
• Merchandise Protection: Deter theft and unauthorized access, safeguarding our cannabis products and maintaining inventory integrity.
• Customer Assistance: Provide helpful responses to customer inquiries, inform them about our dispensary’s policies, and ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Emergency Response: React quickly and effectively in emergencies, adhering to established safety protocols to protect everyone on the premises.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with dispensary staff and management to reinforce security measures and foster a unified work environment.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
